"I have worked with David on two project thus far, with a third in the works.Our first project was the conversion of a 1978 Porsche 911SC "short hood" body into a 1972 Porsche 911 ST "long hood." The project was very complex given the donor car was a sun roofed body. The finished car eliminated the sun roof, reconfigured the front end to accommodate the long hood, add ST flares and bumpers all around, plus install a thru hood gas filler. Finally, we painted the finished body in a high gloss, Porsche silver with body decals.

Our second project is a rotisseried renovation of a numbers matching, 1963 Porsche 356 T-6 Coupe. We are early stage in this project with completion of stripping, dipping, and early stage body work to replace rusted sections.

Dave is a consummate professional (and a heck of nice guy). He treats these projects as if they were his own. His attention to detail and demand for perfection, put him in a unique league of artistry rarely seen. I met Dave through Aaron Hatz of Flat Six, Inc. in Bloomington, MN, who is leading both project builds. "I first met David in 1993. His passion for sports cars was apparent from the moment I met him. He initially did a full repaint of my 1983 911SC. His attention to detail and quality of work transformed this 911 into a beautiful car. The clarity and ‘flatness’ of the paint was something I had never saw on other vehicles.

As the years passed, I approached David to convert this 911 SC into a Turbo look coupe. David took the time to sit down and listen to what my dream of this vehicle would be. I turned the car over to him and his creativity and passion turned this 911 SC into one of the most stunning Turbo look 911s. His talent is beyond painting – his efforts included providing custom sized wheels, massaging the front and rear turbo flares to match the vehicle perfectly, lowering the suspension to provide the aggressive stance and of course the countless hours of paintwork. He installed fine interior details as well – Seats, steering wheel, shifter, etc to help accentuate the beauty of this one of a kind car. His work was done to perfection and in a cost effective manner.

I have attached a picture of the latest automotive creation Dave constructed for me. It’s a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Resto-Mod (restoration with new automotive modifications) with a 426 Hemi engine.
